March 8th 2011 - Angel of Fire artwork contest - results

Thanks to dear fans who signed up for the competition. It was a great pleasure to the band to browse your artworks, but also difficult to decide the winner. We are very happy that this way we connected to people all around the world. You are our inspiration, especially in these times when the band is preparing for a new album! Thus, as previously announced, here are three prizes. Please note that we are planning more competitions in future, for those who didn't participate this time.

March 3rd 2011 - Artwork contest - results coming soon

Thank you all for beautiful submissions for Angel of Fire artwork contest. Submitted works will be picked and reviewed by the band itself with the professional assistance of artist and visual arts teacher Dijana Nazor, who has also received many awards for photography. The winners will be announced on March 8th 2011 on the band's official website. While waiting listen to more Angel of Fire radio shows.

Magdalena's work was recognized by recognized Croatian jazz and rock singer Zdenka Kovacicek who complemented her extravagant look with one of Magdalena's necklaces.

February 10th 2011 - Exhibition with Maja Perfiljeva

Poetic-musical evening and an exhibition of silk paintings

We are inviting you to the performance of the poetess Maja Perfiljeva, that will be held On Friday, February 18th 2011 in Napretkov Culture Center (Bogoviceva 1, 1st Floor) in Zagreb.

Guest on Maja's performance will be the guitarist of the band Angel of Fire, Magdalena Loborec.
Maja Perfiljeva began cooperation with Angel of Fire in 2009, shortly after the guitarist from the band come to her classes of lyrics writing. Maja's affinity for rock music reaches back to the days when she was writing lyrics for the band Indexi, so she is today also pleased to collaborate with young rockers like Angel of Fire.
She learned Magdalena to paint on silk, that resulted in Magdalena's unique appearance on stage, and the whole style of the band. Maja followed the band on many of their concerts since 2009, and the band also followed her to her poetry evenings, so it was a matter of time before Maja invites Magdalena to join the exhibition with her works. Magdalena will present her silk creations and jewelry from her Blue Ocean collection, and she is also preparing her Rock Star and the Pink Planet collection, that are available in Rock Race gallery.
The paintings on the exibition will be reviewed by an academic painter Mario Tomas.

Other guests that evening are young artists: Ana Stipanic and Domagoj Drazenovic, poetess Paulina Lanceroti and musicians: Zdenka Kovacicek, Branko Bogunovic Pif, Vesna Pisarovic, Andrea Grkinic and Marko Separovic.

February 6th 2011 - Band on National TV

Yesterday Magdalena appeared in documentary "Generation Y" on Croatian national TV (HRT 1) and talked about happiness and music. There were also some clips with the whole band playing together experiencing happiness through the music they make together. Check out this jingle about the documentary below. January 28th 2011 - Do you know what's the date today?

January 28th is a very important date for the band, because they played thir first live performance on that day, four years ago. It was at the Rock Academy in Zagreb and they played Stoneflower. In the meantime, much has changed, right? If you haven't bought their first album "Lift Your Flames", you can still do it in Angel of Fire online shop.

January 15th 2011 - Documentary

Hi everyone! Angel of Fire took part in a documentary film that will be broadcasted in three weeks on HRT (Croatian national TV)! TV followed band at place where they practice and recorded a few songs, also recorded Magdalena's playing at her r'n'r home.
